You bring the domain. Navigatu brings the mail.
Four steps take a company from sign-up to working mailboxes on its own domain.
-
1
Sign up
Create an account with a few basic details about you and your company. Your account has to be verified before a domain can be connected to it.
-
2
Add the DNS records
Navigatu shows you the DNS records your domain needs. You add them where your domain is managed, usually your domain registrar or DNS host.
-
3
Get connected
Navigatu checks that the records are in place. Once they are, your domain is connected and ready for mailboxes.
Navigatu checks your records automatically every few minutes for 72 hours after sign-up, and there is a Check now button. DNS changes usually show within an hour, and can take up to 48 hours.
If a check fails, Navigatu names the exact record that is missing or wrong, shows the value it found next to the value it expected, and gives a one-line fix.
-
4
Add your users
Add the people on your team. Each person gets a mailbox on your domain, and reads their mail on the web or in the Navigatu apps.
What are DNS records?
DNS records are short entries kept alongside your domain name. They tell the internet things about the domain, including where its mail should be delivered. Adding the records Navigatu gives you is what connects your domain’s mail to Navigatu.
Your first week
A new account begins with a 7-day trial. During the trial, sending is limited to recipients you have approved: up to 10 approved recipient addresses per company, and up to 50 sent mails a day.
No @navigatu.com mailboxes
